Oriental School of Hotel Management - 1997 to 2000 ( www.orientalschool.com )

My stepping stone to the world of Hospitality..the place that made me a " refined" professional, after 3 years of real hard work. When we started off, I was handed over by my parents to my mentor - Principal Irfan Mirza, to teach and groom into a hotelier. As a person, he's a Gem. As a Tutor and principal, he was a nightmare ! And am not mincing words...but after the 3 years that I've spent at OSHM, I could make out the change in myself. It was pronounced, much evident, made me a person with an eye for detail, quality and prepared me for the tough life ahead...

Sobi sir, shyna ma'am, rose ma'am, shaji chef, Devlal sir, Manoj Chef, Vinu Sir...these are some names whom I'll never forget. Our batch was the 3rd in the history of OSHM and considered the most notorious..:) All of us keep in touch with each other till date.

Institut Hotelier Cesar Ritz - 2000 to 2001 ( www.ritz.edu

If OSHM made me a refined hotelier, Cesar Ritz made me a Polished Hotelier. It opened up doors to a new league of hoteliers - multi cultural, multi linguistic & international . I was staying with classmates and tutors from over 60 countries. I was exposed to showmanship, finer etiquettes & most importantly coping up with an International crowd. IHCR was where I started my  tryst with alcohol. Am not an alcoholic, just a social drinker who can be merry when required :) An Internship with Hotel Noga Hilton, Geneva put my theories into practice. IHCR rewarded me with a Gold Medal & a scholarship for further studies.
