Am back to work after a wonderful morning nap. Came to the hotel yesterday afternoon & was working till early this morning. We had a Distinguished Visitor from The Obama Administration staying with us yesterday. So I was dealing with my new found buddies from US Secret Service & DHS ( Dept of Homeland Security ). Its so much fun to work in such a turbo charged environment with snipers all over the place, sniffer dogs and bomb squads checking the whole area inside out, armed men and women, armoured bullet proof motorcade...etc. It looks so simple and seamless the way they operate but there's a hell of a lot of planning and homework involved that these agents do to ensure they have things in control. On my part, I made my presence and work dedicated to the group overnight till they checked out so that they didnt face any issues.

So, now am back at my desk...Fridays are boring days to work, the priviledged ones get to spend their weekly off's on this day while the not so fortunate ones have to slog out on a boring shift.
